Donald Trump's Iran misadventure has ended in national humiliation and a possible party debacle in the ensuing mid-term elections. Even most of the Americans now admit that the Iran–United States memorandum of understanding reflects Iran's victory. A president who was elected to a second term on an anti-war platform should never have launched such a disastrous war.

So, the question arises: Did President Trump start the war with Iran just to divert attention from the Epstein scandal? Many speculate that Israel blackmailed him on this issue, forcing him to attack Iran. Jeffrey Epstein used beautiful women to build relationships with and take advantage of extremely influential people. Many middle-aged and older married men are also lustful for young, beautiful women. Epstein exploited this secret lust of men. He built a large network to recruit underage girls and young women. In the West, consensual sex between adults is not considered a crime that would make the world come to a halt. But here, the obstacle is the sexual exploitation of underage girls. The investigation into this scandal revealed that Epstein supplied dozens of underage girls for the sexual gratification and entertainment of his influential friends. Notably, although Epstein lived in the United States, he also sourced beautiful girls from various European countries through his network. His chief assistant in this endeavor was the attractive and influential woman, Ghislaine Maxwell.

The names of those on Epstein's list of friends, clients, and connections are eye-popping. Everyone knows about Prince Andrew, the brother of the British King. Members of several other European royal families also willingly joined this circle or were ensnared by the trap. Even a world-renowned figure like Bill Gates fell into Epstein's trap, which he openly admits. But more important than a member of the royal family or a multibillionaire is U.S. President Donald Trump, because he is the most powerful person in the world.

The use of illicit sexual relationships to gain power or advance state interests is not new; it has existed in various forms since ancient times. Rulers have sometimes used such relationships to consolidate or expand their authority, while others have exploited sexual access to rulers and influential figures for their own malicious purposes.

Many are familiar with how two thousand years ago Cleopatra used her beauty to captivate first Julius Caesar and then her rival, Mark Antony. This remains a classic example in history. There are many examples from the Middle Ages as well. Even in India itself. Emperor Akbar solidified his power by giving the sisters or daughters of feudal lords and generals from various regions the status of wives and concubines. Conversely, influential individuals also increased their own influence by sending beautiful women as gifts to the royal court or harem.

Lately, powerful states have been using their intelligence agencies to extend their influence in other countries. In this context, honey traps and money traps are their two most potent weapons. In this regard, the notable agencies are, among others, the US CIA, the Russian KGB (now under another name), the British MI6, the Israeli Mossad, and the Indian “RAW.” Of these, the Indian intelligence agency “RAW” is the most relevant to us, the Bangladeshis. It is believed that “RAW” has an extensive network throughout Bangladesh. There is a perception in all high echelons of Bangladesh that the fallen dictator H.M. Ershad, known for his weakness for beautiful women, fell into an Indian trap and became their puppet. It is believed that he fell into a “RAW” honey trap while he was in India for training as Deputy Army Chief. He could never escape from it. “Brother Ershad's character, pure as a flower,” could not be salvaged. For a decade, he was a hostage in the hands of India.

India's illegal and unjust annual earnings from Bangladesh amount to thousands of crores of rupees. To keep this plunder going, India can easily spend—and does spend—a few hundred crore rupees in Bangladesh annually.  A large portion of this goes toward espionage. They pour vast sums of money into so-called intellectuals and the cultural elites. If someone cannot be bought with cash, they set up “honey traps.” Opponents of their views also fall victim to these traps. A few decades ago, a top official at the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Kolkata, who was appointed on political grounds, lost his job after falling into such a honey trap.

The duo of Epstein and Ghislaine ensnared luminaries from various fields, including politics, economics, and technology, in a sexual entrapment scheme.

No irrefutable evidence has yet emerged that President Trump had an illicit relationship with any of Epstein's underage victims. However, the press has published numerous photographs of Trump with Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and several young women connected to them. This fueled demands for the release of all Epstein-related documents. As the controversy deepened, authorities initially denied that such documents existed. Later, under mounting pressure, they released hundreds of thousands of documents in a single instance and claimed that no further records remained. Critics, however, were unconvinced and refused to accept that claim without seeing the full record. By then, the Epstein files had become a major political issue in the United States. Amid this turmoil, Trump suddenly launched an unexpected attack on Iran, targeting its top leadership, including Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, shocking the world. Some have argued that Israel used the Epstein affair to pressure Trump into attacking Iran—something it had long tried, but failed, to persuade previous U.S. presidents to do. This has raised the question of whether Trump was drawn into Israel's trap because of the Epstein scandal. Trump and his hawkish advisers may have hoped that defeating Iran would both free him from the Epstein controversy and cast him as a national hero. Instead, what was presumed to be a victory turned into an extraordinary American humiliation. Washington was forced into a position of retreat and apology, and Trump escaped the immediate crisis only by making major concessions. Few could have imagined that the world's most powerful country would suffer such humiliation at the hands of Iran.

Israel will not admit that Jeffrey Epstein worked for them. But a review of statements and reports from influential investigative journalists and talk show personalities like Tucker Carlson, The Wall Street Journal, and even The Times of Israel makes his Israeli connection crystal clear. Carlson has said that everyone in Washington, D.C., believes Epstein had a connection to Mossad. Carlson has suggested that Epstein's vast wealth came with their blessing. On July 11, Carlson posed the question on the Turning Point Speech: “How does a guy go from being a math teacher at the Dalton School in the late '70s with no college degree to having multiple airplanes, a private island, and the largest residential house in Manhattan?”

A 2023 Wall Street Journal report stated that former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak met with Epstein dozens of times starting in 2013. He later claimed these were for business investments.

Ghislaine's Israeli connections or involvement are even more profound than Epstein's. Ghislaine is the daughter of extremely influential Jewish parents. Her father, Robert Maxwell, was born in Czechoslovakia. During World War II, nearly all of his family members in Czechoslovakia and Hungary were killed in the Holocaust. For this reason, he would have had sympathy and a soft spot for Israel and the Jewish people. His mother, Elizabeth Maxwell, was also a French Holocaust researcher.  Although his father's close relatives were killed in the Holocaust, Robert (born Jan Ludvik Hoch) managed to escape from Czechoslovakia to Britain via France. He also participated in the Normandy invasion on behalf of the Allied forces. At the end of the war, he invested in publishing and newspaper ownership, soon becoming a publishing and media tycoon. In Britain, he acquired ownership of popular newspapers like The Daily Mirror and, in the United States, the New York Daily News. By this time, he had changed his name. To exert greater influence in society, Robert entered politics and was elected to the British Parliament twice from the Labor Party.

Yet Robert Maxwell’s downfall was dramatic. From the outside, it was not clear that his publishing empire was collapsing. In 1991, he disappeared mysteriously near the Canary Islands, and his naked body was later found floating in the sea. The autopsy was inconclusive, though suicide was suggested as a possibility. Some investigators believe his alleged ties to Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, may have contributed to his death, while some British officials have speculated that he was a triple agent for Mossad, the KGB, and MI6. Such espionage is an inherently dangerous world. Ghislaine grew up in this environment and, through her father’s connections, was exposed to influential people from an early age.

Ghislaine’s relationship with Epstein created a dangerous dynamic. They met in the early 1990s, when Ghislaine moved to New York to work for her father’s newspaper. Both were already connected to powerful circles. Their relationship effectively ended after Epstein was sent to prison. Officially, Epstein died by suicide while held under tight security, but many dispute that account. They believe he was removed to prevent powerful figures, including politicians, from being exposed.

Ghislaine Maxwell was Epstein’s key accomplice in the sexual exploitation of women, particularly underage girls. In 2015, she was accused in court of recruiting, deceiving, and coercing minors into sexual activity. Prosecutors said Maxwell and her assistants brought hundreds of underage girls to New York, Florida, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Maxwell’s London home, where they were groomed for sexual consumption by Epstein and others. Maxwell later fled New York and went into hiding, but she was arrested in New Hampshire in 2020. In 2021, she was convicted on five counts related to grooming minors for sexual activity and, the following year, sentenced to 20 years in prison. Her 2025 appeal was rejected, leaving the sentence in place.

The trial in the Epstein-Ghislaine scandal has concluded for now. Despite their influence, they were convicted and sentenced to prison. Epstein died in prison under mysterious circumstances. But nothing happened to the more influential people with whom they had a close relationship. Nothing definitive can be said about these super-influential people until all the classified documents related to them are released. However, it takes a very long time to release state-classified documents. Who knows whether Israel has irrefutable proof of sexual crime against these two and their patrons and protectors?  If they had such proof against Trump, Netanyahu could have blackmailed him. Not unlikely that they trapped Trump into attacking Iran and thereby wanted to remove the main obstacle to their wrongdoings in the region.

Their incredible defeat at the hands of Iran proved that they were gravely mistaken in their calculations. Though the United States has now acknowledged the reality, it can be said without a doubt that the Israeli conspiracy will not end so soon.
