The author is a senior research fellow in the geography department at Savitribai Phule Pune University in Pune, India. He is pursuing Doctorate on Geostrategic Assessment of Transboundary River Water Sharing In South Asia Region. His research interests include geopolitics, South Asian studies, India-Bangladesh relations, transboundary river water sharing, and water politics.
