Arjun Guneratne is Professor of Anthropology at Macalester College. He is a former committee member of the Field Ornithology Group of Sri Lanka, once served as the Secretary of the Sri Lanka Natural History Society, and helped to establish a Sri Lankan environmental NGO, Environmental Foundation. His latest co-edited book is Pathways to Power: The Domestic Politics of South Asia. Professor Guneratne was formerly editor of Himalaya.
