Shamsher M. Chowdhury

Shamsher M. Chowdhury is a former Bangladesh High Commissioner (ambassador) to Sri Lanka. He is a soldier turned diplomat and is a decorated freedom fighter awarded the Bir Bikram by the state. A former Foreign Secretary he has also served as ambassador to Germany, Vietnam and the United States.
