Propaganda is one of the oldest tools of subversion and manipulation and New Delhi has evidently mastered the art. India has been using propaganda to discredit Pakistan’s economy and divert global attention from its own failures, lawlessness, and human rights violations. The Indian government has been involved in organized and coordinated campaign to spread disinformation against Pakistan to create a negative perception of the country and its economy in front of the international community.
One of the main reasons behind this propaganda campaign is to distract the world from India’s own human rights abuses. The Indian government has been criticized by human rights organizations and the international community for its treatment of minority groups, such as Muslims, and for its use of excessive and deadly force in IIOJK, North East India and other insurgency hit regions.
