Dr Sreeradha Datta

Dr Sreeradha Datta , Professor at the Jindal School of International Affairs, O.P. Jindal Global University and a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at ISAS-NUS. Singapore -119620. She was earlier headed the Neighbourhood Studies Centre of the Vivekananda International Foundation. With a PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India, she has been director, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies, Kolkata and held fellowships with Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses, among other institutions. Her recent works during 2020-2021 are titled, Act East Policy and Northeast India and an edited BIMSTEC: The Journey and Way Ahead and co-edited, Bangladesh at 50: Development and Challenges That apart she has written Caretaking Democracy: Political Process in Bangladesh, 2006-08, Bangladesh: A Fragile Democracy, The Northeast Complexities and its Determinants, and edited others including, Changing Security Dynamics in South East Asia and monographs covering Bangladesh, South-East Asia, Myanmar and published over 150 articles in journals, edited volumes, newspapers and academic websites. Her research interests include India's foreign policy, regionalism and cross-border issues.
