2022 was the year when we stepped a bit closer to the pre-covid state of life as businesses opened up and people began to get back to work. However, for Bollywood, this was a controversial year with almost every other facing a boycott wave and the nepotism debate affecting star kids’ movies.

It’s almost like no matter how good they are, star kids are doomed to be boycotted by virtue of their birth into a filmy family.

As the year draws to a close, here are seven more star kids who are all set to make their debut in 2023:

Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya Nanda will be making his Bollywood debut in Zoya Akhtar’s film, The Archies.

The son of Shweta Bachchan Nanda completed his schooling at London’s Sevenoaks School like his sister, Navya Naveli.

There were also reports that he was to start his college education with co-star Suhana Khan at New York University, but now the two will be seen together in The Archies, which will be released on Netflix next year.

2. Suhana Khan

Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter made headlines even before her big Bollywood debut for being on the cover of Vogue in 2018.

The 22-year-old actress completed her education at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai and studied acting and drama at New York University.

She made her acting debut in a YouTube short film, The Grey Part of Blue, but fans are eager to see her share screen space with a fresh crop of actors in The Archies next year.

3. Aryan Khan

Suhana’s brother and Shah Rukh Khan’s eldest son, Aryan Khan is also expected to make his Bollywood debut next year, but not as an actor.

Apparently, Shah Rukh Khan hashired Israeli director Lior Raz to mentor Aryan Khan for his writing debut. Though there is no fixed timeline for the project, chances are that we’ll hear more about it next year.

Aryan Khan has previously expressed a desire to work behind the camera instead of becoming an actor like his father and sister.

4. Khushi Kapoor

Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti’s Netflix film, The Archies, has become one of the biggest launchpads for star kids and Janhvi Kapoor’s younger sister, Khushi Kapoor is another member of its ensemble cast.

Like Suhana Khan, she did her schooling at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai and pursued a course in acting from the New York Film Academy. The 21-year-old is the youngest daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor.

5. Ibrahim Ali Khan

Son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, Ibrahim Ali Khan will be making his Bollywood debut as an Assistant Director with Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The movie is expected to be released next year.

The younger brother of actress Sara Ali Khan has only one acting credit to his name to date — as young Bachchan Pandey from Tashan. However, Saif Ali Khan has revealed that Ibrahim wants to be an actor like his father and sister, so we might see more of him on-screen.

6. Junaid Khan

Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid started shooting for his debut film, Maharaja in June 2021.

The film is based on the 1862 Maharaj Libel Case in which a religious leader was accused of having sexual liaisons with his female devotees.

Junaid Khan is reportedly playing the role of a journalist in the movie. Since the film has been in production for more than a year, it is expected to be released in 2023.

7. Ahaan Panday

Ananya Panday’s cousin Ahaan Panday has reportedly bagged a YRF superhero film starring Ajay Devgn in a negative role. This news was announced in 2020, so we might get to see him on the big screen next year.

He is the son of author and wellness coach, Deanne Panday, and businessman Chikki Panday, actor Chunky Panday’s brother.

The 24-year-old social media celebrity and actor completed his schooling at Oberoi International School in Mumbai and graduated from the University of Mumbai.
