    The author is a Doctoral Candidate at the Centre for South Asian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India and is the recipient of ‘Belt and Road Initiative’ fellowship as a Senior Visiting Research Scholar at the Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS), Sichuan University (SCU), China. He has completed his MPhil from the School of International Studies at JNU, New Delhi.
