Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence announced that it successfully prevented approximately 450 foreign militants from infiltrating the country during the heightened tensions with Israel in June, according to an official statement released by the ministry.

The ministry reported that it identified the positions of 300 foreign operatives stationed near Iran’s southeastern border, poised to enter the country. As per their claims swift action by Iranian intelligence halted their advance. Additionally, authorities uncovered a group of around 150 radicals in Syria preparing to launch an incursion into the Islamic Republic.

This is the 2nd time in last few months that Israel is being associated with Balochistan by Pakistan and now Iran

The statement also revealed that Israel allegedly attempted to recruit and organize hundreds of foreign mercenaries under the banner of the Balochistan Liberation United Front. As per the TASS report Iranian law enforcement agencies are currently monitoring the group’s activities to counter any potential threats.

The conflict escalated on June 13, when Israel initiated a military operation against Iran. Within 24 hours, Iran responded with retaliatory measures. On June 22, US forces entered the fray, striking three Iranian nuclear facilities. In response, Tehran launched a missile attack the following evening on Al Udeid, the largest US military airbase in the region, located in Qatar. US officials reported no casualties or significant damage from the strike.

Balochis are spread across Iran (Sististan-Baluchistan), pakistan (Balochistan) and Afghanistan. Due to its geography the region is difficult to manage militarily. Whilst Pakistan accuses India for its troubles in Balochistan, Iran has been increasingly skeptical that Israel may use the Sististan-Baluchistan region to foment trouble.
