Colombo, April 7 (newsin.asia) – A 80-year-old COVID-19 patient who was receiving treatment at the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) in Angoda, passed away a short while ago, bringing the total death toll from the virus to 6 in Sri Lanka.
Reportedly, the deceased is said to be a resident of the Dehiwala area.
A total of 180 confirmed COVID-19 patients have been reported in Sri Lanka as of today (7) with 38 having completely recovered and discharged while 137 are under observation.
