Dr. Esam Sohail is a college administrator and lecturer of social sciences in the state of Kansas in the United States. He completed his Masters of Arts in political science specializing in international relations, from Wichita State University, and PhD in Business Administration from Baker College. His columns on the politics and current affairs appear regularly in the daily Dhaka Tribune, one of Bangladesh’s leading English language newspapers. He is also the owner of the pro-democracy website freebangladesh.net which specializes in commentary and analysis on the political situation in Bangladesh.
